You have been working hard for years…..
…laying down rail road tracks, piece by piece. Giving your blood, sweat and tears in the name of a healthy and better looking body. If you put in the work now, someday your travels won’t be so hard. One day in the future things will get easier- you will get on board the train and finally be able to relax and enjoy the ride.
Convention tells you, you must work to get the results you are looking for. That it’d going to be hard. It’s going to take will power.
What if convention is wrong?
What if you could stop working so hard…..today?
What if the tracks were already built, but you just haven’t taken a moment to notice them running along side you?
Decide its time to take a break from all your work. Time to stop fighting. Time to stop resisting. Time to stop trying to convince yourself the manual labor is getting you any closer to what you want.
Stop and look around you.
You might just see a set of tracks close by. They may be a little over grown with grasses, but they are there just the same. Tracks ready for the train of being satisfied with your body, being your healthiest self, feeling a sense of wellness and ease.
Once you catch sight of those tracks, there is no going back to that hard work again.
Once you know, you can’t un-know.
What is it that you want more…
….to find yourself one day at the end of the rail road line, having WORKED your whole way there?
….or would you rather get a chance to enjoy your ride?
I’d like to dedicate this blog post to a Life Coaching client of mine who had the courage to stop, look around and because she did has begun the ride of her life.
