Strong & Healthy: What does she think?

Me and my Strong Girl and a kick ass CrossfitLisbeth.com Shirt!

When you were a little girl and someone asked you what it was important for a woman to be, what would you have said?  I wish I could go back to my 4 year old self and ask.  I can conjecture what it might have been....pretty? Skinny maybe?  But I am pretty darn sure I wouldn't have said strong or healthy.  Tonight I asked my four year old daughter, and those were her answers.

And she is right.  It is important for a woman to be strong.

Strong in mind, in body and in spirit.

Do you know your own strength?  If you don't, reach down and claim it.  YOU ARE STRONG!  Capable of so much more than you give yourself credit for.  Own your feminine strength. Our strength is different than our counterparts, definitely no less....possibly more!

And it is important for a woman to be healthy.

Healthy in mind, healthy in body & healthy in spirit.

Do you know what it takes for you to be healthy?  It doesn't involve a diet or a scale or a mirror.  Health comes when YOU ACCEPT that you are WHOLE and PERFECT as you are.  When you accept this, it doesn't matter how thick your thighs are or how you talk too much or aren't a perfect mother.  From acceptance comes LOVE....unconditional LOVE.  From Love BLOOMS health...health that is yours to have this very moment.

What does the little girl inside of you think is important for you to be?  Find out.  Ask her.   That's where you start.  You want strength and you want health....but maybe they still remain elusive.  Your logical mind gets it....but that little girl inside doesn't believe it.  Its never to late to change her mind.  You can't start proving her wrong till you know her answer to the question.

What is most important for you to be?
